And again, here we are with me having not blogged for *blank* number of months and playing catch up! I REALLY need to work on this. Sounds familiar, huh?
Anyhow. The last time I posted was before Halloween so we'll start from there...
Halloween was a ton of fun! Oliver was a Roman Centerion and Jacob was Harry Potter. We did our usual trick or treating downtown Redlands and then handed out candy to all the adorable neighborhood kids!
Next up was Thanksgiving! We had it here at the house this year and of course completely stuffed ourselves to the gills!! We topped off the night with Black Friday shopping, but were pretty conservative this year. I scored some stuff for the wedding and that was about it. Uly got sent to Wal-Mart to buy some stuff for his mom's store and was home before midnight; not a bad way to do it!
Christmas was spent here in sunny California! Oliver was so much fun, and got totally spoiled as usual. I was so excited to go over to his brother & sister's house to give them their presents - picture books that I had made with pictures from our trip to Mexico! I seriously had been waiting since before the trip for that moment and it was well worth it!
New Year's was spent at Uly's friend Sergio's house, which we've done for the past few years. This year their friend set up his DJ equipment and Oliver kept everyone well entertained with his awesome dancing skills. It was cold enough that I apparently wasn't willing to take pictures so I don't have any. Oh well!
2012 was a great year for us! I was on the Dean's List for each semester and Uly got even closer to graduation. We also got engaged which was pretty much the highlight of the year for me!
