Catching up Halloween style

Halloween was so much fun this year! Nana Rencher was nice enough to buy Oliver his Superman costume and he actually did really well with it. I really thought that he would keep ripping the cape off, but he didn't even really notice it!

We started off the Halloween season with Oliver's very first happy meal. My dad told me that they were giving away trick or treat buckets with happy meals so we went and treated Oliver. He did really good and chowed down his whole meal!

Oliver's daycare did trick or treating a few days before Halloween so I dressed him up and took him treat or treating around the high school where his daycare is -which is actually the high school that Uly went to! Uly came over and met us half way through after a job interview.

His VERY first sucker, he was completely captivated by it!

We took a guess and managed to show up at my old ward's trunk or treat, Uly's very first time! It was actually really fun, they had a mini carnival inside with good eats and then started the trunk or treat up outside. Oliver got a great haul which we of course gave him one piece of and quickly hide the rest to dole out throughout the months as bribes, I mean rewards for good behavior. ;)

Superman to the rescue!!

Candyyyyyyyyyyy...

Halloween morning we went out to breakfast and then to downtown Redlands and Victoria Gardens to trick or treat. Oliver was less than impressed with this type of trick or treating but we all had fun none the less. Uly and I were very inventive with our costumes...He woke his Laker jersey and I borrowed a Laker jacket of his! Seeing as the people bleed purple and gold here AND there was a Laker game that day, our "costumes" were a hit!

Uly's nephew Lalito was an adorable pirate who refused to wear his hat for more than 5 minutes at a time.

His sister, Abby, was Tinkerbell!

This is what Oliver did through most of downtown Redlands!

Yay for candy!

Uly's brother, Jake...I'm still not entirely sure what he was...

Yeah for candy!

A Post!

I am so majorly behind on blogging that I don't know if I'll ever catch up! On the bright side there's actually a slight chance that I will be able to catch up, now that I have a laptop and amazing internet at my place. My wonderful boyfriend was amazing enough to lend me the money to buy a laptop since I start school NEXT WEEK and I won't be getting my tax return or financial aid until next month. He is pretty much the best thing every and I'm crazier about him today than I was when I first started blogging about him! :)
Things have been going well. Uly started school at Cal State here in San Bernardino and is loving being a university student and of course already has a 4.0 without breaking a sweat. I start school next Tuesday at Riverside Community College and I'm super nervous and excited about it! Between work and school I'm going to be super busy, but Uly and I are looking into a couple programs that will forgive my loans when I'm done with school so I'd be able to take out the max amount of loans and focus on school only.
Work is going ok. I'm just not a retail person and so I struggle with that, and I'm not the hugest fan of the people I work with. I'm actually going to go in tomorrow and see if there's any way that I can transfer the Nike outlet in Ontario which would give me a lot more flexibility with my schedule and a huge cut in commute time!! So cross your fingers for me, because if they can't help me with that it'll be time to start searching for a new job and who knows how long that'll take.
All in all, everything is going well and I am loving my life. Oliver is going to be 2 soon, and not too long after that will be Uly and I's 1 year anniversary which will be so fun. Hopefully I'll get my pictures loaded up on here soon, until then here's some from my phone!

My adorable little Christmas tree...Uly found the tree and the lights and my mom sent us the ornaments!

Oliver and I at Uly's nephew's birthday party. He had the cutest, biggest pinatas I've ever seen!

His curls are gone! :( I got brave one night and chopped them off...And now he needs a major hair cut fix!

He learned how to "go potty" from Uly and loves to do it now. Makes me a little nervous to think that I'll be tackling that in this next year to come!
